Van Oord receives IADC Safety Award 2026 for pipe lifting tool

Van Oord says its tool for handling reclamation pipes received the IADC Safety Award 2026.

Van Oord announced on 16 October 2026 that it had received the International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) Safety Award 2026 for its pipe lifting tool. The award was presented at the IADC Annual General Meeting in Malta.

According to Van Oord, the tool was developed to improve safety and efficiency when handling reclamation pipes.
