Van Oord says the North Sea research project is focusing on reef structure design in 2026.
Van Oord announced on 26 June 2026 that its Ocean Health business line was participating in ReefCreate-XL alongside scientists, offshore companies, government bodies and nature organisations.
According to Van Oord, the North Sea reef restoration research project launched in spring 2026 as an initiative of Nature Regeneration North Sea. Its focus for 2026 is designing reef structures.
