Van Oord names new fallpipe vessels Vindnes and Vestnes

Van Oord announced the names of two flexible fallpipe vessels scheduled for delivery in 2028 and 2029.

In an announcement dated 23 September 2026, Van Oord said it had unveiled the names Vindnes and Vestnes for its two next-generation flexible fallpipe vessels during WindEnergy Hamburg.

The vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2028 and 2029. Van Oord says they will expand its subsea rock installation capabilities for offshore wind, interconnector and critical energy infrastructure projects worldwide.
